WCA welcomes China’s Conch Cement as a Founding Member

The World Cement Association (WCA), which represents more than 1 billion tpy, has welcomed Chinese cement manufacturer Conch Cement as a Founding Member. Conch Cement has been added to WCA’s substantial existing membership of over 35 countries.
Anhui Conch Cement Company is one of the world’s leading cement companies with a 335 million tpy capacity. Operating globally, it has 50 000 employees.
“Conch Cement’s efficient operation and pioneering management and its efforts to work towards the sustainable development of the cement industry makes them a valuable partner”, said Norman Greig, Secretary General of the World Cement Association. “We are delighted to welcome them as a founding member of our fast-growing international network”.
