Gebr. Pfeiffer makes short work of Turkish order

The OYAK Group’s Bolu Cimento Sanayii A.S. has ordered three vertical roller mills from Gebr. Pfeiffer SE for the new production line in Kazan near Ankara as part of an expansion project turning an existing grinding facility into a complete cement plant. The three mills are scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2014.
The order comprises:
- An MPS 4500 B with a drive power of 3150 kW for raw material grinding at 320 tph and a product fineness of 12% R 0.090 mm.
- An MPS 225 BK VRM to grind petcoke and lignite at rates of 20 tph and 35 tph, respectively, at a fineness of 3% residue on the 0.090 mm screen. The mill’s installed drive power is 400 kW.
- An MPS 4500 BC with a drive power of 3300 kW for cement grinding at 130 tph for CEM 1 at a Blaine fineness of 3900 cm2/g.
