MPA announces new chairman

Simon Willis, Chief Executive Officer of Hanson UK, has been appointed as Chairman of the Mineral Products Association (MPA) for the next two years. He becomes the eighth chairman of the association and takes over from Martin Riley of Tarmac.
Paying tribute to Mr Riley’s contribution to the association throughout his term of office, Nigel Jackson, Chief Executive of the MPA, commented: “Martin has demonstrated formidable leadership in his time as Chairman particularly in the field of health and safety. His strategic vision and commitment have been second to none and he has not only inspired his own company but his peers and the next generation of leaders.”
