Carmargo Correa joins forces in bid to build Belo Monte dam

Carmago Correa will join forces with another Brazilian major construction company in a bid to build the world’s largest new hydroelectric dam. In a separate issue the company is planning to issue US$1.7 billion in commercial papers.

 

US Cement Shipments Remain Flat

The US Geological Survey preliminary data indicates that cement shipments for the first six months of this year were 4.3% lower than in the same period in 2009.

Cemex releases Q2 results
