Cemex: Safety is of paramount importance

Cemex has developed a number of safety campaigns, as a result of which five of its cement plants have in Colombia have reached a year without accidents. A particularly noteworthy achievement was the company’s cement plant in Bucaramanga, Santander, which has reached almost 1062 days without an incident.
Cemex’s National Health and Safety Manager in Colombia, Darwin Sastoque Molina, stated that employee safety was the company’s “top priority and a moral duty: having an incident-free operation will be the result of everyone’s work and commitment.”
