New CEO for PCA

The Portland Cement Association (PCA) board of directors has named Michael Ireland President and CEO, effective immediately. Ireland replaces former President and CEO James Toscas.
“I am pleased to be working with Mike as the association navigates challenges, opportunities and changes facing our industry in the years ahead,” said PCA Chairman and CalPortland Company President and CEO Allen Hamblen.
“It is my honor to serve America’s cement manufacturers during such an exciting time for the industry,” said Mike Ireland. “Cement and concrete will continue to play an important role in building infrastructure, enhancing the resilience and sustainability of buildings, and supporting the overall quality of life for Americans.”
In addition, the PCA board of directors elected the following new members, effective today: Greg Hale from Capitol Aggregates; Steve Regis, Bruce Shafer, and Mark Wagy from CalPortland Company; Enrique Rozas from Drake Cement, and Mike Ireland of PCA.
