HeidelbergCement to use task management app, CheckProof

Products from the HeidelbergCement Group are used for construction of houses, infrastructure, and commercial and industrial facilities worldwide, which places high demands on quality and operational reliability. The group was looking to improve its preventative maintenance at its processing plants and for its mobile equipment. There was also a need to streamline work on quality checks, failed items and data collection, which is why CheckProof was introduced.

“It’s extra fun to have the confidence of this great player”, said Håkan Holmgren, CEO and founder of CheckProof.

“We often see that there is a common denominator when it comes to these types of challenges. It’s often a question of getting effective routines to collect data so that the right measures can be implemented at the right time. Here, employees in production have a key role. By offering them a tool that simplifies everyday life, the routines become a natural part of the work, which gives effects throughout the company.”

HeidelbergCement Group will mainly use CheckProof for maintenance activities in their business line of aggregates and asphalt.

“CheckProof has provided an easy to use, quick to implement task management solution which complements our digitalisation efforts,” said Dr. Oliver Patsch, CCM Director responsible for Aggregates and Asphalt across the HeidelbergCement Group.

“The flexibility allows us to tailor the setup to the specific needs of our sites while still providing the structure for continually improving our maintenance practices.”
