With no mixing required and available in 20 kg bags, both the High Performance and Instant Concrete products are quick, easy and ready to use.
In terms of application, the 40N strength High Performance Concrete is suitable for forming the base for domestic garages and driveways. Meanwhile, the 15N strength Instant Concrete is ideal for garden sheds, greenhouses and domestic footpaths and steps that require quick setting.
The final new product, Premium Cement is a 42.5N cement made from a higher specification material, specially designed for applications that require extra strength such as steps, paths, concrete bases, and repair and maintenance projects.
The launch of these new products comes as Lafarge Cement responds to rising demand from merchants and their customers alike to offer more specialised packed cement solutions. It follows the success of the business’ already well-established packed cement range.
The new products will join Lafarge Cement’s existing portfolio of widely available packed cement solutions including Super White Cement, Rapid Set Cement, Concrete Mix, PostMix, Mortar Mix, Hydrated Lime and General Purpose Concrete.
Lee Dunderdale, Product Manager at Aggregate Industries UK, comments, “We’re not a business to rest on our laurels and are always striving to push boundaries in product innovation in order to meet our customers’ changing needs.”
“Through our ongoing engagement with builders and builders’ merchants here in the UK, in recent years we’ve had growing calls from our customers to offer more specialised solutions which offer the level of superior quality our brand has become known for.”
“As such we’ve invested heavily in creating these additional three products which have been purposely manufactured to provide our customers with an incredibly easy, quick and exceptional quality cement solution for a range of typical applications. We believe these new additions, alongside our well-established packed cement range will see us continue in our position as the one-stop-shop provider for cement product excellence here in the UK.”
