Loesche expands its process optimisation offerings with two acquisitions

Loesche GmbH has acquired majority stakes in aixprocess and aixergee. The acquisitions will enable Loesche to enhance its optimised processes and systems offerings.

Germany’s Aachen-based aixergee GmbH specialises in optimisation solutions for production processes in the cement industry, through the use of numerical computation methods and industry-specific knowledge. It also offers optimisation concepts for alternative fuel firing and performance improvement, as well as for stabilising plant operations and reducing emissions. Also based in Aachen, aixprocess GmbH develops simulation tools and models for complex and flow-relevant processes. Its solutions have been applied in the power industry and process engineering markets for over a decade.

Commenting on the acquisitions, Dr Thomas Loesche, Managing Partner of Loesche GmbH stated: “We do not intend to act as a single source supplier for every project; however, we would like to offer the best solutions for the challenging tasks of our customers.
