Through a customer charity partnership, Hanson has donated 30 m3 of concrete, to be used in the foundations of a new community sports pavilion and equipment store in Northamptonshire.
Hanson worked with the Natta Building Co., supporting its charity groundworks project for the Fernie Fields Sports Club in the village of Moulton. The Northampton plant team supplied the concrete for the development, which will primarily be used for sport for disabled children and community charity groups.
“We had just finished a job with Natta when they asked us to support the project and we were happy to help,” said Simon Tiernan, District Sales Manager responsible for arranging the five-load delivery. “We are delighted that our donation and the work of Natta has laid the foundations that will help the sports club to realise its vision of being able to offer facilities for use by all.”
