Votorantim chooses LOESCHE mill

As the end customer for the ‘Sivas 2 RM’ project in Turkey, Votorantim Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS has chosen to use a LOESCHE vertical roller mill.
The customer, Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute, has placed an order for a type LM 48.4 LOESCHE mill for grinding cement raw material. The mill will be designed with a capacity of 420 tph, and the material will be ground to a fineness of 14% R 90 µm. The gearbox has an output of 2860 kW. The engineering for the cyclone separators is also included in the scope of supply.
The lead time for the main components of the mill in 8 months, while the gearbox will be supplied within the next 9 months. The commissioning of the vertical roller mill is planned for the end of next year.
