Another order for Gebr. Pfeiffer, this time in Russia

Lafarge Cement has chosen a Gebr. Pfeiffer MPS 5300 BC mill for its Ferzikovo plant in Russia. The vertical roller mill has a drive power of 5500 kW and will produce 190 tph of CEM I 42.5 R with a specific surface area of 3600 cm2/g as well as various blended cements.
The scope of supply covers the mill, the plant filter, the fan, the handling equipment of the external material circulation as well at its dust collection equipment. Gebr. Pfeiffer will also be responsible for checking the General Contractor’s planning documents and will supply additional engineering documents. Delivery of the mill and other equipment will begin this month, with erection and commissioning due next year.
An MPS 5000 B roller mill for raw material grinding is currently under erection at the Ferzikovo plant.
