World Cement,
The Eurocement Group has announced a substantial increase in the annual volume of freight traffic for the long-term service contract with JSC ‘Freight One’ (PGC).
In 2016, the planned volume of freight will increase by more than 20% compared to the previous year and amount to 13.2 million t.
The growth of traffic within the service contract will be possible thanks to increased shipments of Eurocement products by rail, as well as an 11.6% discount on transportation by rail due to the additional volume of goods this current year.
The last five-year service contract for the rail transportation of finished products concluded in late April 2015. Last year, the volume of transported cargo under an agreement with the holding company amounted to 9.4 million t.
