Eurocement engages in education

Eurocement held a 2-day event for young professionals to increase the degree of involvement of young people in the business. The ‘Generation E’ event saw young employees of the company get involved in team games, become acquainted with the high-tech manufacturing at the Voronezh branch, as well as cover areas of discussion such as how to build interest in education and how to attract students and graduates to Eurocement. More than 30 young specialists attended.
Pikalevo Cement
Employees from Eurocement’s Pikalevo Cement visited the school in Pikalevo to talk to students about the possibility to participate in the Government of Leningrad’s further education programme, which provides funding for selected students to attend university. Eurocement is part of the programme and provides employment to these students after graduation.
Plant personnel management specialists told students about the benefits of this programme and the children were introduced to the history and current practice of Pikalevo Cement.
