Loesche wins another Dangote Cement contract
Sinoma International Engineering Co. Ltd (NCDRI), acting on behalf of Dangote Cement, has awarded Loesche a contract to supply grinding equipment to the new Douala grinding terminal in Cameroon. A vertical roller mill, type LM 53.3+3C with a motor capacity of 4600 kW, will grind clinker components such as gypsum, limestone and pozzolana. For clinker type CEM I A-L 42.5, it will have a product rate of 155 – 168 tph at 3200 Blaine. Its rate for CEM II 32.5 clinker will be 230 tph at 3600 Blaine. The mill feed is separated into a dry string (clinker and reject) and a wet string (pozzolana and gypsum), in order to handle the high level of moisture. The scope of supply also includes metal detectors and mill rotary feeders. Delivery is set for early 2014.
