Gebr. Pfeiffer wins first order from Dangote Cement

Gebr. Pfieffer has won its first order from Dangote Cement. The Nigeria-based company has ordered an MVR vertical mill for grinding cement raw material and an MPS vertical mill for grinding coal and petcoke.
The MVR mill features a total drive power of 4000 kW, grinding 550 tph to a fineness of 10% R 90 µm. The MPS 3350 BK has a drive power of 1100 kW and is designed for throughput of 50 – 70 tph of coal or petcoke at a fineness of 12% R 90 µm.
Gebr. Pfeiffer personnel will supervise erection and commissioning. The order was placed via Chinese general contractor, Sinoma International Engineering Co. Nanjing.
