World Cement,
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers has given Sioux Corporation the Pillar of Industry Award for its dedication and support of America’s manufacturing industry and the I Make America campaign for the second year in a row. The programme has three levels of support and Sioux Corporation achieved the highest level for two years in a row, and will achieve it again in 2016. Sioux is one of only 33 companies to achieve this level.
Sioux Corporation is a very active supporter of the I Make America campaign. I Make America is a national grassroots campaign that promotes policies to support and increase manufacturing in the USA.
“AEM is proud to bestow our Pillar of the Industry Award to Sioux Corporation to recognise their efforts to go above and beyond their daily business and become a champion for our entire industry,” said AEM President Dennis Slater. “Because of their commitment to pro-manufacturing solutions, Sioux Corporation does stand as a ‘pillar’ that helps support the foundation of our entire manufacturing economy.”
Jack Finger, Sioux’s President/CEO states, “Sioux Corporation is proud to support this effort to promote building equipment in the USA. We encourage other manufacturers to be more proactive in this effort, which brings jobs back home and increases the tax base, which is a win/win for everyone living in this country.”
