Housing starts fell in March

Rock Products has reported that nationwide housing starts in the US fell by 8.8% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.089 million units in March. However, the data from the US Housing and Urban Development and the Commerce Department shows that overall starts are up at a double-digit rate from a year ago.
