Logistics Tech Outlook magazine has named Command Alkon as a ‘top ten fleet management solution provider.’ The magazine judged software and technology providers on their ability to provide solutions that both effectively and economically account for a fleet management offering. Time-focused delivery was also kept in mind.

Command Alkon was selected for its software facilities trading partner collaboration across heavy civil and infrastructure jobsites, where operational transparency and efficiency lead to meaningful results.

The company’s TrackIt solution uses GPS tracking and telematics equipment, providing a real-time view of the location and driver performance for each truck. The TrackIt Turn-Key is a monthly subscription service that bundles together hardware, technology, engine connectivity devices, and installation. This has the aim of eliminating upfront capital expenditures. BuildIt brings robust planning capabilities and real-time job cost tracking.

“The construction industry needs visibility within their supply chains to ensure materials arrive on time, at the right location, and with the best utilisation of logistics resources,” said Phil Ramsey, CEO of Command Alkon. “This is particularly important for inbound materials like concrete and aggregates, which are always on a contractor’s critical path. Command Alkon is very pleased to be named a top ten fleet management solution. We are honoured to be recognised for our contributions to improving productivity, communication, and collaboration for all stakeholders at a jobsite.”

Command Alkon is a global leader in integrated supply chain technology solutions for the heavy building materials industry.
