PCA Director receives award

Larry Novak, Senior Director of Structural Engineering and Codes for the PCA, has been awarded the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Education award. The award was presented at the ACI Spring Convention in Detroit, in recognition of his volunteer efforts and contribution to the organisation’s educational activities.
The ACI Education award was established in 2015 to recognise individuals who have made notable contributions to the advancement of ACI Education or educational support activities.
"We congratulate Larry on earning this prestigious award, and thank ACI for recognising him," said PCA President and CEO James G. Toscas. "Besides being a structural engineering expert, Larry has consistently been one of the most highly-rated educators in the cement and concrete field. He is a tremendous asset to PCA and to the industry as a whole."
