Rock Hard Cement is threatening a lawsuit against the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Contractors Association, should he fail to retract his statements regarding the quality of cement sold to consumers by Rock Hard Cement Ltd. The comments, which were plainly disparaging of Rock Hard Ltd’s product, were made at a press conference on Wednesday.
In a pre-action protocol letter the company asked, in addition to the retraction, for an unconditional apology to also be issued. Should he fail to do so within 48 hours of the letter being issued, Rock Hard Ltd’s attorneys have said that their client will br filing action at the high court.
