LafargeHolcim subsidiary Holcim México has been ranked among the top Mexican companies for business integrity by Expansion, Mexico’s leading business magazine. The company was 39 in the ranking that includes 500 national and international firms across 54 sectors.

The ranking recognises companies that have clear anti-corruption practices, as well as a high commitment to business integrity – both internally and externally. It takes into account whether a company has published an anti-corruption policy on its website, the scope and socialisation of the policy, and how the policy it monitored and the penalties for non-compliance, as well as the accessibility of this information.

The rankings were developed by Expansion, as well as Mexican Non-Governmental Organisations Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI) and Mexican Transparency (MT).

Holcim México manufactures cement, aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, and other products and services for the construction industry. The company operates seven cement plants nationwide with an installed capacity of 12.6 million tpy. It also operates 23 cement distribution centres and two sea terminals.
