Cementos Molins promotes its digital transformation strategy with two new additions

Cementos Molins has reinforced its commitment to technological innovation and digital transformation by adding two renowned professionals to its IT Solutions and Services team.

Javier Sueiras has joined as Chief Information Officer (CIO), while Rocco Lisi has assumed the role of head of the digital area. These appointments accelerate the company's technological innovation and digital transformation plans, with a strong focus on the improvement of customer service.

Javier Sueiras will lead Cementos Molins' IT Solutions and Services, focusing on promoting strategic technological and digital initiatives. This will include the development and implementation of new processes and advanced technological solutions to enhance different areas of the company, improving customer experience and operational efficiency in all aspects of the business.

Sueiras expressed his enthusiasm, commenting: “I am delighted to join the Cementos Molins team. I am convinced that my experience in projects with a strong technological component in the fields of technology, digital transformation and innovation will help Cementos Molins face the new challenges in the IT area and consolidate the strategic pillars of digitalisation and growth of the company.”

With training as an industrial engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and postgraduate studies in business management and leadership at IESE, ESADE and Georgetown, Sueiras has developed his professional career in the life-science sector at a national and international level both in the industrial and technological fields, contributing to the growth and digital transformation of businesses.

Cementos Molins' digitalisation plan

Cementos Molins' digitalisation plan for the coming years includes more than 50 initiatives across six key areas: Customer Experience, Industry 4.0, Data and Analytics, Employee Experience, Digital Enterprise, and Infrastructure. Among the most notable projects is the creation of a centre of excellence in artificial intelligence applied to the industry, the implementation of omnichannel processes and solutions for customer relations, and the development of capabilities to promote innovation, the adoption of change and collaborative and agile work methods.

With the aim of directing this ambitious plan, Rocco Lisi has joined Cemento Molins as head of the digital area, working directly under the direction of the CIO. As a telecommunications engineer from the University of Naples Federico II, with postgraduate studies in digitalisation, Lisi brings more than 20 years of experience in consulting, leading technology and digital transformation projects in various sectors and countries.

These two additions consolidate Cementos Molins' drive towards the technological and digital vanguard, promoting excellence in all areas of its operation.
