AUMUND Brazil and AUMUND China have joined forces, working closely with Sinoma Tianjin TDI to claim two orders for the AUMUND Group of companies from South America.
For the construction of L’Amali Line 2 at Loma Negra Companía Industrial, AUMUND will supply three chain bucket elevators, eight bucket elevators, five pan conveyors, and a drag chain conveyor. Loma Negra is the leading cement producer in Argentina. 19 silo discharge gates will also be installed under the clinker silo to feed the pan conveyors that are located there.
Established in 1926, Loman Negra awarded the order to AUMUND in August 2017. The second kiln line will have a capacity of 5800 tpd and produce 2.7 million tpy of clinker. It will be located adjacent to the existing kiln line and production will start early in 2020.
Together with AUMUND Brazil and Sinoma, in June AUMUND Beijing was able to conclude another project in Argentina. This project was for the supply of four belt bucket elevators, three chain bucket elevators, and three pan conveyors via Sinoma TDI to Cementos Avellaneda.
AUMUND Brazil has traditionally had good working relationships in the oligopoly of cement production in Argentina. The Argentinian market is shared between four producers: Loma Negra, Holcim Argentina, Cementos Avellaneda, and Petroquímica Comodoro Rivadavia. These producers have 18 manufacturing locations between them.
