Terex and Konecranes to merge

Terex and Konecranes have announced that the two companies have entered into a merger of equals. The new company will be named Konecranes Terex Plc.
The transaction is subject to approval by both Konecranes and Terex shareholders and customary closing conditions. Closing is anticipated to take place during the 1H16, and up until that time the two companies will continue to operate independently.
