CEMEX announces organisational changes

Effective from 1 February 2019, CEMEX has announced changes to its senior level organisation.
The current Vice President of CEMEX Mexico, Juan Romero Torres has been appointed Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Development. This is a new role that will aim to capitalise on the significant progress that CEMEX has achieved in its customer centricity strategy. The role will provide a formal structure and allow for new opportunities to add value to customers and markets.
Current President of CEMEX Colombia, Ricardo Naya Barba has been appointed as the President of CEMEX Mexico.
Another new role, Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain Development, will be taken on by the current President of CEMEX Europe, Jaime Gerardo Elizondo Chapa. This role aims to evolve CEMEX’s supply chain capabilities, to gain additional efficiencies in end-to-end operations.
Current Distribution Channel Vice President for CEMEX Mexico, Sergio Mauricio Menendez Medina will take over the role of President of CEMEX Europe.
The company has noted that all other regional presidents and executive vice presidents have been ratified in their positions.

Gonzalez, CEO of CEMEX. “Our people are our greatest asset and I have confidence that our new leaders will build a stronger CEMEX.”
