Sempertrans USA LLC and Shaw Almex Industries Ltd. have agreed to end their cooperation agreement for the North American conveyor market. Though the two companies will now be acting independently, customers will continue to be served without interruption. The agreement was started in 2016.
Sempertrans has set up a sales and distribution organisation for conveyor belts in North America, which will continue to serve its customers in this important market.
Markus Keller, Head of Segment Sempertrans, says: “Our customers remain serviced without interruption. We will continue to offer our technically advanced and high-quality conveyor belts in North America.”
Tim Shaw, CEO of Shaw Almex, says: “We both agreed that it is better for our customers if we act independently and therefore can be more flexible in handling their needs. Shaw Almex will focus on its well-known strength in its markets.”
