Safety milestone for McInnis Cement

Whilst the work carried out by McInnis Cement is steadily moving ahead at Port-Daniel-Gascons, the contractors and workers recently celebrated an important milestone - the passing of 200 days without an accident.
McInnis Cement has officially saluted the efforts of all those who are taking part in the construction of the cement plant and marine terminal and their adoption of safe practices. The company has also thanked the safety team for its work on prevention and their continued vigilance.
McInnis Cement is building a cement plant representing one of the largest industrial projects currently under construction in eastern North America. The plant will have an initial production capacity of 2.2 million metric tpy of cement. It is located in the municipality of Port-Daniel-Gascons, in Gaspésie.
