MagneGas® to be used at Florida facility
US-based MagneGas Corporation has announced that a cement company has approved the use of MagneGas® fuel as a replacement for acetylene.
MagneGas has developed a patented process that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based fuel. The cement company, which has operations in the US, the Caribbean and South America, has been testing MagneGas® for use in plant repairs. The company has now placed its first order for use at a facility in Florida. Utilisation of this fuel is expected to be rolled out at other locations in the coming weeks.
