The Portland Cement Association (PCA) has announced the winners and finalists for the 2015 John P. Gleason JR., Leadership Award, which honours employees of member companies who have demonstrated industry leadership. The awards are presented in each of PCA’s three categories of strategic initiatives: Market Development, Business Continuity, and Young Leaders.
Honourees for Business Continuity
Winner: Bill Larson, Vice President, Marketing, CalPortland Company.
Runner-Up: Brett Lindsay, Environmental Manager, Salt River Materials Group.
Honourees for Market Development
Winner: Jim Mack, Director, Market Development, CEMEX USA.
Runner-Up: Scott Palmer, Manager, Market Development, Salt River Materials Group.
Honourees for Young Leaders
Winner: Adam Swercheck, Director, Environmental Affairs, Buzzi Unicem USA Inc.
Runner-Up: Scott Nielson, Corporate Environmental Manager, Ash Grove Cement Company.
