Cemex facilities awarded by NSSGA

Six Cemex USA aggregates facilities are receiving prestigious awards from the NSSGA in recognition of their dedication and involvement in their local communities.
Cemex’s Lake Wales Sand Mine in Florida was name as a 2017 Gold Community Relations Award winner. The Gold Award is given to the top 10% of facilities receiving the highest scores from the NSSGA’s group of independent judges.
"We are proud to be part of the communities where we operate and are honoured to be recognised by the NSSGA," said Kirk Light, CEMEX USA's Regional President for Florida and Carolinas. "These awards illustrate the hard work that CEMEX and the Florida Aggregates team have put forth in being a good neighbour."
Cemex’s 474 and Davenport Sand Mines in Florida each received 2017 Silver Community Relations Awards, while the Cemex FEC Quarry in Florida received a bronze award, long with the Lytle Creek and Moorpark Quarries in California.
