Argos enters the FTSE4Good Index

Argos was seen to be among the top five companies in the world in the construction materials sector with the best corporate governance, environmental and social management practices.
"We are very proud to receive this recognition that highlights our teamwork and the great achievements we have obtained as a company in managing sustainability and creating value”, said Maria Isabel Echeverri, Legal and Sustainability Vice President at Argos.
The FTSE4Good Index, part of FTSE Rusells, is listed as one of the three most recognised indexes in the global market on sustainability issues and is recognised by investors as an index that integrates these issues in investment decisions.
This news joins the recognition received in the latest version of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, which catalogued Argos as the second most sustainable company in the world in its sector and the gold medal in the RobecoSAM 2020 Sustainability Yearbook.
