China to work with Venezuelan government to build three cement plants
According to a tweet by Jacqueline Faría, Venezuela’s Minister of Communication and Information, the Venezuelan government will work with China to build three cement plants, each with a production capacity of 2500 tpd.
Faría is among a delegation of ministers accompanying Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on an international tour. The delegation is currently in China and will later head to some of the OPEC countries in light of the recent fall in oil prices.
Maduro is meeting with the Chinese President and a number of organisations within the finance and energy sectors in a bid to further strengthen bilateral ties with the country. CATIC Beijing, Citic Group, SINOPEC and CNPC are among the companies that have met with Maduro on this visit.
