FLSmidth acquires US-based Process Engineering Resources Inc.
FLSmidth has signed an agreement to acquire Process Engineering Resources Inc. (PERI), to be part of its Automation unit in Salt Lake City. PERI is a US-based company that develops, manufactures and installs online slurry analysis systems for the minerals and mining sectors. It also develops and designs online slurry XRF analysis systems. The acquisition aims to expand FLSmidth’s mining and minerals offerings, particularly in the non-ferrous segment.
“The acquisition of PERI strengthens FLSmidth's competitive position and value proposition as it will be possible to fully integrate proven optimisation systems into current product offerings,” stated Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen.
