Magnezit Group and Vamtec S.A. sign cooperation agreement

Magnezit Group has signed a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian company Vamtec S.A., a diversified manufacturer and trader of materials for metallurgical and cement plants. The agreement stipulates cooperation of the parties in the field of distribution and promotion of products and services of Magnezit Group on the Brazilian market. It also includes a programme for cooperation in development of novel products for the metallurgical industry.
“At the moment Magnezit Group implements the strategy of qualitative growth aimed at strengthening of positions of the company on the world market,” said General Director of Magnezit Group, Sergei Odegov. “During recent several years we carried out a number of considerable changes in the company including construction of the unique complex for production of magnesia clinker in Satka, Chelyabinsk region, purchasing of a new deposit in Krasnoyarsk Territory, which is one of the biggest and one of the most high quality in the world. Cooperation with the company Vamtec S.A., which possesses considerable experience of work with metallurgical and cement plants in Brazil, will let Magnezit Group find new possibilities for growth and continue efficient development of business on the South American market.”
