LafargeHolcim Colombia has ordered a modular ready2grind cement grinding system from Gebr. Pfeiffer Inc. The new system includes that latest MVR technology for vertical roller mills, as well as faster and cheaper transportation and construction.
The cement grinding system will comprise the clinker feed modular hopper system, ready2grind milling circuit and product storage system, and a packing plant from Claudius Peters. The Gebr. Pfeiffer MVR 2000 C4 will be installed with a feed system, filter, fan, auxiliary equipment, and the complete electrical and control system.
According to Gebr. Pfeiffer, demand for modular cement grinding systems, such as ready2grind, continues to grow. This project represents the fourth installation of the ready2grind system worldwide.
Advantages of the ready2grind system include transportation and plant construction cost savings, design for optimum site erection and safety, 30% savings compared to ball mill technology, the latest MVR technology, and the option to move the plant to another location.
Headquartered in Pembroke Pines, Florida, in the US, Gebr. Pfeiffer Inc. is a subsidiary of Germany-based Gebr. Pfeiffer SE.
