Superior Industries to increase presence at bauma

US based manufacturer and supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, Superior Industries, has stated that its presence at the 2019 bauma trade show will be three times that of previous years.
The company is planning to showcase its new AllianceTM Low Water Washer, which allows crushing operators to wash fines within their crushing circuit. In this way, fines do not need to be transported to a separate wash site, which requires costly trucks and harmful re-handling of the material.
The system accepts a dry feed from the crushing circuit and an agitator converts the material to a slurry before an integrates dewatering screen removes excess water. This leaves as little as 8% moisture in the discharged manufactured sand. The company has stated that, depending on production rates, existing units have required only 45 – 90 m3/hour of water. This is significantly less water consumption than a traditional screw or cyclone.
The company is also planning to showcase a group of conveyor components. These include Chevron® pulley, Moxie® roll, high performance DT idler, and Exterra® SFL dual belt cleaner. On top of these products, the company also plans to showcase videos and presentations of its products, including crushing, screening, washing, and conveying equipment for bulk processing and handling of materials in quarries, mines, and marine and rail terminals.
