CONTROLS continues expansion with new US subsidiary

World Cement,

Materials testing equipment manufacturer CONTROLS has announced the opening of a new subsidiary in the US. CONTROLS USA will be based in Atlanta and will commence from January 2014. The new subsidiary will increase the company’s presence in the US market. It will provide field and laboratory materials testing equipment for the construction industry, including the concrete, soil and asphalt sectors.

“The company will focus on what we see as an under-served market segment and offer automatic, computerised test equipment which offers superior performance-to-price value, more accurate results, as well as time and cost saving; also we will back this up with superior service,” commented Alvaro Beleña, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Controls Group and Vice President of the new US subsidiary.

The announcement follows the news earlier this year that CONTROLS is establishing a new subsidiary in Kurdistan, TE CONTROLS LLC.
