PCA responds to executive order

Published by , Assistant Editor
World Cement,

In response to President Trump’s executive order regarding the WOTUS rule, the PCA has issued the following statement:

“We applaud the President’s directive that EPA and the Corps reconsider the WOTUS rule. While our industry supports protecting our nation’s waters and wetlands, the WOTUS rule extends federal jurisdiction well beyond what’s needed to do so, and beyond reason. We look forward to supporting the Administration’s efforts to propose a new rule that’s focused on achieving the Clean Water Act’s objectives without placing unnecessary hurdles on states, local communities, property owners, and the regulated community.”
