CEMEX Latam Holdings has announced its new general counsel

Following a favourable report from the Appointments Remuneration Committee of CEMEX Latam Holdings, the company’s board of directors has agreed on the appointment of Eugenio Bernardo K. Barquet Becerra as its new general counsel. Becerra will replace Ana María Gómez Montes.
Becerra brings 20 years of experience, including more than 17 years in the legal sector of CEMEX group. He has worked as Legal Director within CEMEX’s global corporate office since 2016, looking at different issues in administrative matters, real estate, energy, supply, and litigations. He holds a degree from Universidad de Anáhuac in Mexico City and a master’s degree in International, Commercial, and Environmental Law from the American University in Washington, US.
