Loesche to deliver VRM to Peruvian grinding plant
Yura S.A. has ordered a vertical roller mill from Loesche America Inc. for installation at a clinker/additives grinding plant in Arequipa, Peru. The contract follows Yura S.A.’s previous experience with a Loesche VRM type LM 56.2+2 C/S, opting for a mill of the same type for the new plant.
The grinding plant will process clinker, gypsum and pozzolana. The VRM, which has a 4000 kW gearbox, will have a cement product rate of more than 170 tph at a fineness of 5000 cm2/g Blaine.
Loesche’s scope of supply includes the complete import portion of the grinding plant between the mill feeding hoppers and cement silo inlet. In addition, it will provide a compact LOMA hot gas generator, a set of main drive motors, instruments for process control loops and dust emission monitoring. Delivery is set to take eight months.
