Cement factsheet: North America
To coincide with the IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference (Toronto, Canada, on 26 – 30 April), the April issue of World Cement has a special focus on North America’s cement industry and the region’s technical expertise. This includes a Keynote by the Portland Cement Association’s Rick Bohan on the dangers of dust, case studies of recent projects at US cement plants, discussion of emissions and mercury control ahead of NESHAP, as well as a look at CalPortland Company’s intern programme. As always, the regional focus is accompanied by World Cement’s monthly infographic, highlighting some key facts from the cement sector and related industries.
