After consultation with the NEC and a number of their many exhibitors, the organisers have decided to reschedule the 10th anniversary UK CONCRETE Show, from 25th and 26th March 2020, to 3rd and 4th June 2020 at NEC Birmingham.
Show Director, Maddie Maclellan said, "This was not an easy decision, but the unprecedented global situation has everyone running to process, with many of our European partners responding to more extreme concerns than those we currently face in the UK."
Numerous global participants, exhibitors and visitors, are mandated to cancel international travel, leaving no logical course of action other than postponement until Spring, according to Maddie.
"There can be no remaining doubt that this best serves the interests of all participants in the UK concrete industry show".
The change to running in June will allow the popular show to develop its activities in the outside area, according to show founder and Marketing Director, Steven Callaghan.
"There is limited enthusiasm amongst both exhibitors and visitors for spending time outside of the comfortable hall environment in late March, but early June is another matter, so I’m looking forward to developing our demo program and exterior display area," he concludes.
