The Industrial Gas Filtration and Generation Division of Parker Hannifin, a producer of motion and control technologies, has opened a new customer experience facility and industrial filer test lab, allowing its engineers to conduct precise media and filter testing in the development of innovative filtration technologies.
The highlight of new lab is a test rig dedicated to testing in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE 199-2016. The test rig provides a quantitative method for determining the performance of pulse cleaned filters. The unit feeds dust through a humidity and temperature controlled loop, then into a dust collector with instrumentation that measures differential pressure and fractional efficiency.
The test rig facilitates the design, construction, and selection of new filter technology which is essential to finding the answers for its customer’s biggest challenges.
