Schenck Process has added dedicated pneumatic conveying test facilities to its TestCenter in Darmstadt, Germany. The new Pneumatic TestCenter complements the existing TestCenter facilities, which first opened in 2008.
The Pneumatic TestCenter has both dense-phase and dilute-phase systems, which can be configured over 50 or 100 m loops at a capacity of 15 tph. The facility also includes a rotary valve outfeed station with optional intermediate bulk container or belt weigher.
“With the addition of the Pneumatic TestCenter, customers can now view complete integrated solutions, running tests in real-life situations,” the company said in a press release. “The can accurately quantify energy requirements and degradation results for their specific products.”
