Clarcor Industrial Air launches new UAS conveyor filtration system

A new UAS conveyor filtration system (CFS), designed for transferring and transporting bulk materials that generate process dust, has been introduced by Clarcor Industrial Air.

A safe, effective and convenient solution

Dust presents many challenges for Clarcor’s customers concerning air quality, safety and maintenance. The UAS CFS attempts to tackle these issues by providing a safe and convenient solution to control process emissions.

The UAS CFS installs directly onto the conveyor or bucket elevator, eliminating the need for costly ductwork, hoppers, airlocks or feeders. Its design is key since this allows it to be installed in limited access and low clearance areas. The UAS CFS is available with varying filter media solutions including membrane technology, blowers, control solutions and service options to match applications, thus making the new system accountable for flexible configurations.

The UAS CFS has high filtration efficiency through BHA filter technology provided in the system. BHA PulsePleat® filter elements allow customers to benefit from low pressure loss and durable construction that can be relied upon to protect their facility and their employees.

This UAS CFS eliminates the need for ductwork, hoppers, airlocks or feeders, all of which are costly, as it is installed directly onto the conveyor or bucket elevator. The product yield is also increased with reclaimed process material as the collected contaminant is returned directly to the conveyor which is reclaiming the material.

Comment from Clarcor

“We have been enjoying the customers’ reactions to this new system once they learn how easy service and maintenance are with the UAS CFS”, stated Corinne Fields, “there are no containers to empty or monitor on a regular basis. The system can be serviced and maintained from a single side.”
