World Cement,
MAL Environmental Technology has been working to reduce NOX emissions in cement plant. Last year, the company launched its ANCR system (adaptive SNCR).
The MAL ANCR system is a proven technology thar reduces NOX emissions with the lowest NH3 emissions – it has achieved a NOX reduction rate of -75%, alongside a low ammonia consumption. In comparison to previous SNCR systems, it is possible to reduce ammonia consumption by 10% – 30%. A retrofit of existing SNCR systems is recommended, in order to save costs. Typical NOX emission reduction is 1850mg/Nm³ (9 lb/ton Cli) reduced down 500 mg/Nm³ (2.4 lb/ton Cli).
