New guide to cement production released

CRC Press, a part of academic publishing house, Taylor & Francis Group, has released Cement Production Technology: Principles and Practice, a multidisciplinary title on cement production technology by Dr Anjan Kumar Chatterjee.
The book covers the entire cement production process, from extraction to the finished products. It also includes sections on the environmental impacts of cement production and current research trends.
The book “explores the subject of cement production with an effective combination of materials science and technology, along with good analysis of [the] cement production sector,” CRC Press said in a press release. “All the unit processes of cement production with their back-up principles and practice will be available in one volume.”
The book also includes back-up theoretical inputs to understand the practice.
Dr Chatterjee is Chairman of Conmat Technologies Private Ltd, a research and consulting company based in Kolkata, India. He was previously Whole-time Executive Director of Associated Cement Companies Ltd (now ACC Ltd), a part of LafargeHolcim Group.
