Rapid strength concrete market to grow to 2024

Published by
World Cement,

Demand for reduced construction time and lower costs will drive growth in the rapid strength concrete market to 2024, according to a new report from Global Market Insights. The market is expected to exceed US$450 billion over the period covered by the report, as urbanisation and industrialisation in Asia Pacific, as well as the Middle East and Africa, drive construction activity.

Substantial investments in projects to revamp the construction industry in the US and Europe will also help to generate ample growth prospects for the rapid strength concrete market, continued Global Market Insights.

Highway development will be a key sector driving growth in demand for rapid growth concrete with this segment expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.5% to 2024. “This is chiefly due to the need to expand the highways across the global, along with maintaining and repairing old highways,” Global Market Insights said.
