EMS (Embankment Machinery Sales), has been appointed as the official Terex Trucks dealer in the Republic of Ireland. The company will be providing sales, service and parts for Terex Trucks articulated and rigid dump trucks.

EMS works with customers in plant hire, heavy civil engineering and quarrying. The EMS professional service team has 26 years of experience working with dump trucks and will be trained at the Terex Trucks Motherwell facility.

“We started discussions with Terex Trucks last year following the acquisition by Volvo Construction Equipment, and we are extremely encouraged by the support and involvement that we have received,” commented Seamus Flynn, Sales Director for EMS. “Terex Trucks is a good fit for where we want to take our company going forward. The company is actively engaged and interested in our business, and is equally passionate about our market. With Volvo CE’s involvement, we have great expectations for where we can take the brand together.”

EMS has recently received a Terex Trucks TA300 and soon this will be sent to customer demonstrations across the Republic of Ireland. The company is currently conducting customer quotes for Terex Trucks products.

Guy Wilson, Terex Trucks Sales and Marketing Director EMEA explained: “The Republic of Ireland is beginning to recover after five years of recession, and we’re starting to see confidence returning to the market. EMS has a comprehensive customer base in our targeted industry in Ireland. They have excellent back-up service capabilities, and a dedicated and focused sales team. We are confident that now is strategically the right time to get into the market, and EMS has the experience and highly skilled team to bring Terex Trucks successfully into the market.”
